This guy is either a non-Catholic or knows about as much about the faith as your average Zulu chieftain. He's against total separation of Church and state, yet to address this, he speaks in American-patriotic terms about freedom of religion... Does that make any sense?
Therefore, he has just admitted in this speech that he doesn't believe in THE Church being the one true Church. Nowhere does he say that the CATHOLIC Church should have special rights. He is against total separation of Church and state because the First Amendment talks about "the free exercise of religion — that means bringing everybody, people of faith and no faith, into the public square.”
This guy is clearly double-minded, and that is the understatement of the century. He is a new kind of diabolically disoriented. On Facebook Zenith posted a video, very recent, where he admitted to having funded contraception, just to show he wasn't as strict as all that, you see.
What do people expect, that a Catholic superhero is going to same and save them and somehow completely turn around the very nature of America at the very last minute when it's already in its decline?
It should also be mentioned Vatican II isn't the Church, so even if we had a VII politician who said without ambiguity that he was going to place the "Church" at the head of the state, it would only be the VII anti-Church. But this would not be Catholic France if such a thing happened, it would be more like Henry VIII's England. Does the idea of being under the rule of a Modernist like Joseph Ratzinger float your boat?
I don't understand why anyone even TALKS about politicans; the game is rigged and will always be rigged until the Minor Chastisement shakes everything apart.
