    • It seems odd that while traffic occupies the right side of the road, as it does today in America, drivers in both horse-drawn wagons and horseless carriages sit on the right side of their vehicles.  

    Notice that all the women have a place to go and no time for nonsense, but boys and young men seem to take pleasure in playing "chicken" with the traffic.
