  • I'm hoping the Saints win, just because of their name and the fact that Louisiana has a residual Catholic culture -- at least more than 90% of American states.

I'm completely not into sports. I'm not even watching this game! But in this case, I have to root for the more Catholic side.

I'm keeping up with the game here:

  • I cared about the Dockers ad for a chance for a free pair of pants for hubby. That's over.

Now, I'm hoping the Saints win so I can get a free bottle of Louisana Hot Sauce.

That's the sum of my interest in the Super Bowl.

  •  :rahrah:, you guys!  But my husband loves to watch football, and my son began playing at schol so I had to care!

The Notre Dame games bring me to tears because - you know!

The Army - Navy games are good, because they represent a tradition.

    TOUCHDOWN SAINTS!!!!!

Burnt you Peyton Manning!!  31 to 17 the Saints!

  • Ignored super bowl Sunday. Said 10 decades of the
rosary instead. Sports is to worldly, Makes you
think of the things of the world instead of your
eternal salvation. How many people face their
particular judgment while in the front of their
    TV set?

  • I agree and am very anti TV.  We didn't have one for 16 years but my husband really wanted to be able to watch the game.  It is truly shocking to watch if one has never been a TV person.

But last night was fun!
