Running a Traditional Catholic forum is not easy.
The list of abilities/training/skills that make a good forum owner are also the same ones that make a good priest! So the pool of available GOOD forum owners is depleted right off the bat by those who become priests, and we all know most priests don't have time to run a forum.
At any rate, I just wanted to point out that one of God's gifts to me is the ability to synthesize (put together) the big picture out of many small elements -- to see through the "noise", so the important elements stand out.
My brain holds and weighs each datum, and a general impression is slowly created. That impression is rarely, if EVER, proven false.
The geeks among us know that computer scientists are trying to bring computers in that direction -- because, as you know, computers are actually quite stupid. They always miss the forest for the trees. They are utterly unable to see the big picture or the essence of something (and they probably never will, as they don't have reason or a soul -- but I digress). They want computers to use "fuzzy logic" like humans do. It's actually an order of magnitude more efficient than asking hundreds or thousands of "yes/no" questions to reach a decision.
In short, the human brain is more impressive than any supercomputer, unless you're talking about brute-force calculations. Humans can pick up subtleties, flavors, moods, patterns, etc.
To get to the point:
When things don't add up, I will notice. I sometimes have to wait until someone "does something" before I ban them, just so I won't have a big backlash. But, as I said before, this is a monarchy, not a democracy. I have to "rule" as a human being -- with common sense -- not as a computer, with a 1,000 page rule book in my hand. And I shouldn't be ashamed of that -- a human being is better than a computer in almost all respects.
