Dear Neil Obstat or anyone else who is knowledgeable,

What is going on with these solar images from NASA as posted at The Sun Today?

There have been quite a few images that have blacked out areas like the one posted below.

Is this just an artifact or is it something that NASA does not want us to see?

The page you link doesn't have any images of the sun with parts blacked out.

Maybe what you saw was a corrupted file or an Internet glitch.

Yes, the page has been refreshed, and the older picture was removed.

The image I posted in the OP was an image taken from The Sun Today.
