  • I am a 20 year old female, and I run my own rosary business. I have been hand-making rosaries for almost two years now! It had all first started out as a hobby because I found a kit at Walmart. Soon it turned into a love of mine. And now it has become my passion to make and sell rosaries. I love spreading the word of God, and helping people find a stronger form of prayer. Sadly, it has become more popular to hate Catholic than to be one. I struggle alot. I wonder if the profession that I have chosen to be a correct one for me. I am very passionate about making rosaries, and I can not imagine doing anything else. I want to be a stay at home one day, and later on be a Catechism teacher. I would love for my passion for Rosary making not only be a full time thing, but help me pay for college. I am currently enrolled in a junior college and hope to transfer in Fall of 2018. I am not entirely sure why I made this post. Maybe for inspiration? Comment back, let me know how often you pray the rosary or miracles that have occurred through the power of praying the rosary. God Bless and have a beautiful day!

  • 'Ever since Blessed Alan de la Roche re-established this devotion the voice of the people, which is the voice of God, called it the Rosary. The word Rosary means "Crown of Roses" that is to say that every time people say the Rosary devoutly they place a crown of one hundred and fifty-three red roses and sixteen white roses upon the heads of Jesus and Mary. Being heavenly flowers these roses will never fade or lose their exquisite beauty.'

  • I pray the Rosary daily.  The Rosary I use daily was made by the sister of one of the women at the St Louis SSPX chapel.

My advice would be to continue making Rosaries.  If your business dries up, keep making them for family, friends and others at Church.

  • You might want to contact the gift store at Mount St. Michael, in Spokane Washington, they are getting ready for their annual Fatima conference and will be stocking up.

Speaking of a conference I belong to a Rosary Conference Telephone call, 24/7 each evening at 7:00 P.M. PST.
a free call, unless your provider charges, the call itself is free and it is LIVE, meaning all the people on it are there at present, not recorded.
However, it was started by a few men who have impediments, so one's patience is challenged. One blind, and sometimes because he can't write down the names of the people who call in, he forgets at times who is on. The reason he wants to know is since the rosary is prayed on telephones, which cause interference if we all prayed at the same time as we normally do, i.e., in church with a group of people. (One person says the beginning of the prayer, and the entire group will pray the ending loud) On the telephone, the monitor will choose only ONE person to pray the beginning and another ONE person to pray the ending. The rest of us pray to ourselves while listening. He chooses different people with each decade. If you do not want to be selected, you simply tell him that you just want to listen.
The other man that alternates as the monitor has a speech impediment and poor focus problems.

Yet, these are the people that Our Lady always picks to do great things.

The people started this Rosary Conference for home bound individuals, but anyone can call in. It is each day at 7:00 Pacific Standard time, and they pray all 15 decades each night. However, many people hang up after the first 5 decades.
I only tell you this so if you're curious and want to call you will understand about the leaders and their situations.
The phone number is 1-712-7757031 a recording will ask you for the access number which is 393323#
Thus far that I can remember the most callers we had was 18, most evenings we receive about 6 - 10 callers. Most people call in here and there, meaning not each night, but we have a few that call in almost daily as I do.

    Please pray for my soul.
