    • Today, Aug 1st.  marks the 90th anniversary of the closing of Catholic churches in Mexico in 1926.

    Let us invoke the intercession of the teenage martyr Jose Sanchez del Rio, Father Miguel Pro and all the Cristero martyrs to help us in our present day fight to preserve our Church.

    • The teenage martyr Jose Sanchez del Rio, Father Miguel Pro and all the Cristero martyrs are in good company with the seven holy brothers (the Holy Machabees), martyred in the second century before Christ who we commemorate today -- August 1st.
