Somebody please make a petition to revive the Knight Templars, take it up with the Vatican or your bishops if you can. We need the Knight Templars back at all costs as a reponse to the rise of ISIS and it's war on the western world or else they could really spell the end times if they emerge victorious.

They are a humanitarian organisation though. Not a properly christian military like the Templars once were. I am talking about an armed modern christian military that would be the true successor.

For the sake of brevity, I will reproduce what I said about this subject in his "Just who really is ISIS" thread:

I would be all for a real Catholic Crusade. But that would require the defeat of Modernism, the restoration of Tradition and Orthodoxy in all of what was once Christendom, and the abandonment of secular democracies in favor of Catholic monarchy.

Asking for a Crusade without those conditions in place is like expecting to build a house from the roof down instead of from the foundation up.

If the OP is a youngster, all is forgiven, because yes it is a very cool thought.  Totally impossibly impractical, but cool.    

But many paramilitaries exist across the world. It could just start off as a basic armed paramilitary or a simple armed militia dedicated to protecting christians and holy sites.
