In my opinion, Catholics should be wary even to use the term "ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖ" because it connotes a sense that the behavior is innate, that that's just who the person is, and nothing could be further from the truth. Individuals who experience same sex attraction should be told the truth, gently and charitably, but firmly nonetheless that such inclinations are disordered, and that they are called to holiness, chastity and purity.
Even such an organization as the American Psychological Association classified SSA as a disorder up until as late as 1973. While they only changed this owing to political pressure of course, the fact remains that the modern world simply has no concept of sin, no understanding that some things are wrong in and of themselves, and against our nature and purpose.
