The Latin Kingdom of Jerusalem was established in 1099, and finally fell to Turkish forces in 1291. Thus ended Christian control of the Holy Land.
Over the centuries, various plans have been made to reestablish a Christian state in the Holy Land. It seems obvious that the land most closely associated with the Incarnate God, and those sites where He lived, was crucified, rose from the dead and ascended into heaven, should be under Christian control.
Any plan will have to be a long term one, of course. There is little prospect of political change in the near future. But I would welcome correspondence with any who think that such a goal would be desirable.
