  • I have recently been converted to the resistance from the FSSP.

What does God do for me?    He blesses us with Father Girouard!

I still can't believe a resistance chapel appears the moment I come to my senses?!

    Praise God!

    Regina Angelorum, ora pro nobis!

  • Might I add, the only resistance chapel in Canada?

    Coincidence? Nope. God is merciful.

Something similar happened to me. I was bi-traditional for many years, FSSP-SSPX, though doctrinally more in agreement with the latter. Finally, with no small sacrifice I abandoned the former to be committed fully to the latter.

Imagine my frustration and disappointment to discover how similar the latter had become to the former which I had left.

In January I attended my first Resistance Mass and knew that there was where Wisdom lay. All these Masses, FSSP. SSPX, and Resistance, were a minimum of a 90-minute drive away, about half were two hours. I made the drive for six years.

In late April my boss announced that the office was relocating and asked some of us if we would relocated with it. The new site? Thirty minutes from the Resistance Mass! Unquestionable confirmation that the Resistance is where God wants me to be.

I moved two weeks ago. May He be forever blessed.
Mother of God, pray for us sinners.
