    • Nearly a year ago I started a reparation thread to apologise for my past offenses here on CatholicInfo. Since then, I've either discovered new offenses that I forgot to mention, or have made new offenses. Rather than bump that thread, I will start a new one, because I think I need to make reparation for the following offenses:

    * I apologise for some uncharitable remarks I directed towards wallflower and s2srea last May.

    * I apologise for a comment I made about Clare and Patricius in February of 2012, saying they were only here for "advertisement". I had no proof of that, and shouldn't have said it.

    * I apologise to Raoul76 for an uncharitable PM I sent him about 7 or 8 months ago. He said something on the forum that made me mad, but I should have handled the situation differently (I don't recall exactly what I said, I don't think it was anything nasty but certainly wasn't polite).

    * I apologise for some calumnious comments I made about Bishop Pivarunas and the CMRI in September of 2011, on the "Bishop Pivarunas Big Blunder" thread. Unfortunately, during the first year and a half of my membership here I had a tendency to believe rumours and hearsay about the Traditional clergy that were never proven. On that thread, I questioned the validity of Bishop Pivarunas' ordination and said he needs to "take responsibility for his actions" or something like that, without knowing what I was talking about. Those remarks were based off claims that were made by two or three other individuals. I should have made sure I had evidence of what I was saying before I said it, and those people did not provide evidence for their remarks. That was very scandalous of me and I should never have made those comments.

    * Although he no longer posts here, I apologise to Caminus for the time I  called him a "neo-Trad". That was uncharitable.

    * Although he no longer posts here, I apologise to GertrudetheGreat for "outing" him last July. I should never reveal the identity of anyone without their permission, that is very unCatholic and I am sorry for doing it. I also aplogise for calling him a coward and saying he had "gone off the deep end".

    * I apologise for every criticism I have made against this forum's policies and/or moderating decisions, most recently when I stormed off in July out of frustration over a combination of things. Regardless of what I've complained about in the past, CatholicInfo is a great forum, and is the ONLY Traditional forum where you will learn the Traditional Catholic Faith, as well as the truth about the liberalization of the SSPX, feminism, the Jєωs, etc. Thanks again to Matthew and Mater for running this forum.

    To anyone else I have offended, I am sorry and ask you for your forgiveness.

    • You're a good person.  This is a good idea.

    To the global-sized  community of people that I've ticked off over the years, if I did so to some unjustly, I apologize.  For the rest, I hope God uses it as a nudge towards Him.  

    I do remember mistakenly saying the Archbishop Bugnini was an admitted Marxist way back when.  The forum has since closed.

    • It reminds me of the beginning of a Missae Novus ordo.

    I do not consider these forum bickerings to be so serious.

    We enter forums to exchange information, debate and sometimes argue.

    Good argument is healthy.  

    If we ever really "lose it" or hold a grudge,, we should be able to make rerparation via private email and then clear it up in the Confessional.
