    • This priest speaks of the Mass rocks in this excellent sermon:



    I tried to set it to start at the sermon, but it didn't.

    Sermon is from 14:24 - 31:40.

    He speaks of how the Catholics would have lost the Faith without those clandestine Masses.  He quotes a researcher who said "These rocks are the symbol of Ireland's Catholic heritage.  They are what kept the Faith alive for almost 2 centuries of the Irish catholic penal era; if Gaelic communities hadn't gone to the Mass rocks, the Catholic Faith would have died out."   Fr. Johnson goes on to say:  "And surely this is what our overlords are counting on."

    I have no idea where all those blanks came from. It wasn't that I had nothing to say each time, maybe my computer got that virus or something. Perhaps they could be eliminated.

    Maybe you attached some kind of web content that is no longer available.  When I see those question marks in a box, that's what it looks like to me.  From the next comment, it looks like it was an article on Knock.  Too bad it's gone.  From Matto's comment, it sounded like a good one.

    • I would like to mention the mass 'movie theater.' During the persecution of the Catholic Church in Mexico, a policeman walked in front of a movie theater. On the marquee there was a sign advertising the latest movie. Inside it was a packed house. Fr. Pro was saying mass.

    • Yes, there was persecution of Catholics in Mexico, England, other places and even here in the USA.  And the persecution continues.

    • There was a popular restaurant in Mexico City. A policeman walked by in front of the restaurant. In front of the restaurant was the menu advertising the specialty of the day. A waiter was seen to walking by holding a tray high above his head. At the back of the restaurant was Fr Pro saying mass for the people.
