Your welcome miss. You will be in my Rosary this evening, and in my mass intentions tomorrow.

May our Lord continue to give you the graces to continue to be strong and learn much in your conversion, and my Our Lady keep you and your Fiancee as her own, and bless your upcoming marriage.

That is one of the kindest things I've heard recently. I sincerely thank you, for your help and for your prayers. I've been reading through all the links and it's rather hilarious how I learned more on the subject of Catholic morality from a very brief section of the Baltimore Catechism then I did in two RCIA classes on the subject.

@Jim: Yes, I can't get into the PM system yet - I'll shoot you an email.

And to everyone else: THANK YOU! There hasn't been a single link, book, or idea shared here that isn't helpful. I know what I'll be doing for the next few weeks.
    My Jesus, Mercy!

  • Apparently it hasn't been mentioned yet, but do you have a traditional missal? It is very important to have one, as it helps you to grow familiar with the spirit of the liturgical seasons throughout your daily life.

  • I think I've seen Imitation of Christ recommended more than any other book save the Bible over the years. I've never read it, but intend to.

  • There are many good Catholic books available for free from Amazon for the Kindle.  I am reading a delightful old biography of St. Francis right New that I found there.  You can also get the DRV Bible free from Project Gutenberg.

Ah yes, Imitation of Christ is by far the second greatest book ever written in my opinion (the Bible being the greatest). I have the book my self and it's excellent, I highly recommend it.
Please ignore ALL of my posts. I was naive during my time posting on this forum and didn’t know any better. I retract and deeply regret any and all uncharitable or erroneous statements I ever made here.

I've seen it written that one should first read The Spiritual Combat, and then the Imitation of Christ, the former being a kind of introduction to the latter, a ramp up to the heights. And read the Preface here regarding St. Francis de Sales' preference for the former:
