  • I have been listening to Peder Helland's music for years now.  It is really great!  :)

Here are a couple of my other favorite artists whom you might also like:

    Yiruma:

    Brian Crain:

  • FWLIW..

Thought about getting some of Yiruma's music once, might look at his stuff again, my first thought was it's just a little repetitive for me but borderline perhaps... I'm not an as knowledgeable as I'd like on what makes for good music or not.

If you like Yiruma, try Toshiyuki Watanabe's 'Paused Wind' album, I listen to the entire thing from 'White Fantasy', 'Falling Snow' to 'The Rosy Sky in the Winter'. It's always on my play list. Isao Sasaki has some songs too like 'Butterfly in the Rain'

I tend to listen to music I can have on in the background that is mentally stimulating and aesthetically pleasing but not distracting, so I can read and work and pray.

    Kyrie eleison.
    Sincerely,

    Shin

Some of Yiruma's songs can be repetitive, but I like the fact that it is soothing and helps me relax when I am stressed at work, or with life in general.  It is sometimes hard to find musicians that do not throw in all the drums and synthetics.  That is the part I appreciate about him the most.  (I guess part of me also likes his music because it is similar to my style that I play...   ;D)
Thank you for the other suggestions!  I will definitely look them up!   :)
