The PM function is there -- use it

Bad: Call someone out in a thread
Bad: Criticize the forum in general
Bad: Make general alarmist statements like "Schismatics taking over the forum!"

Good: Send a quick PM to the moderator when a troublemaker is sighted, so he can be dealt with.

I saw Ambrose's thread, but I completely ignored it.

I wouldn't have ignored a PM bringing up legitimate concerns about "AllMonks".

Don't blame me.  I never read anything that he posted.  No interest.
However, that's good advice about the PM.  I tend to be critical of others & perhaps embarrass them so now use the PM.  There seems to be a lot of people here that are new to the faith & yes, they should be learning more before they spout off.

Duly noted.  If it happens again I will PM you.

I have been guilty of this as well.

Will try to be better about that.
