  • Recusant was banned for being a home-aloner.

I won't allow ANY of their ilk here at CathInfo. I'm not that desperate for members. They're all crazy.

I can say "crazy", because it's an objective statement. Being crazy isn't a sin. But it's a mental sickness -- one that COULD affect other sane Catholics.

It would be imprudent to allow such "mentally unwhole" people to give traditional Catholics a bad name.

This forum has a wide enough swath of people to allow for PLENTY of heated and intense discussion -- I can't allow *everyone* here -- even those who are "way out there". For example, people:

    - who think God personally spoke to them and gave them a mission
    - who hear voices
    - who think there are no valid priests left
    - who think ALL traditional Catholic groups are hopelessly corrupt to the point that we should avoid them all...
    - who advocate terrorism as a way to bring down the government

    You get the idea.

  • Matthew,
You've made a wise decision. Thank you.

    As the Church has taught,

The salvation of the soul is the supreme law.

and as a wise priest told me many years ago,

The Sacraments are for the people.

The devil has waged a vicious battle to keep people away from the Sacraments.  How terribly frightening! Beware of the devil's evil ways.  He will try to use despair in these days to tear good people away from God's graces.
