  • A new battery is over 1.6v

    This will get them to 1.38-1.4

    It will get you out of trouble.  Might work a wireless mouse or low power item but for the controller on a Wii forget it.  More trouble than it is worth.

    It does not take an alkaline battery to even 60 percent of the capacity it had when new.
