  • Never been there, but it sounds like if your banned, you should be a little proud, with the help of God's grace, for staying firm to the teachings you have learned from the beginning just as the Bible instructs us to do.

In otherwords its a badge of honor to be banned from there.
    Please pray for my soul.

It's also true that a person should not tie into novus ordinates too often.  But sometimes I've had enough and feel that someone has to stand up to them. It just amazes me that they still keep showing up and giving money.

Yes. I definitely believe we need to confront them head on on all fronts. This is a battle for the soul of the Church. It's just a matter of tactics. A more reserved approach bears more fruit with family and close friends. A more assertive doctrinal approach and arguments work better on-line or with acquaintances. Makes them think. Force them to at least ask the questions you started asking yourself that lead you to Tradition.

    Hello all,

I don't understand this forum "Catholic Answers". There was a lot of discussion, so I joined up.

First of all, there was a poster called "NewsTheMan" who seemed to make good posts. He got into an argument with someone concerning receiving Holy Communion while standing. In response to someone's question on why it was introduced in the first place, he wrote among other things that it was 'introduced to destroy belief in the real presence'. I originally thought he was meaning the modernist American Bishops at the time (finding out later he was actually referring to the early Protestants in Europe during the Protestant Revolt), so I agreed with his post. I received an infraction for "encouraging a post that was disrespecting the American Bishops".

Later on, I found in the 'Traditional Catholicism' section someone accusing what seemed to be another traditionalist of not believing in all the Church's teachings because he didn't agree with receiving Holy Communion while standing. I butted in, promptly correcting him with "False, Communion while standing is not a teaching of the Church" and "It is simply novelty". I received an infraction for being "disrespectful", which resulted in a 30 day suspension.

About 25 days into the suspension, I got tired of it so I circuмvented it by making another account called "CrushModernists". I made a few posts (can't remember if any were controversial or not) and then found myself with a permanent ban for circuмvention.

I sent an appeal, and they responded explaining why I received infractions. They explained that not only did I receive a ban for circuмvention, but I actually received an infraction as well because the name "CrushModernists" causes 'division' and is 'confrontational'. They said they would discuss the issues with me and work with me. I sent another email back explaining that nothing I said was incorrect, however accepting blame for the circuмvention. I said that the forum rules were not clear, and more often than not the admin just arbitarily bans/infracts opinions he doesn't like.

I received a response telling me that because of lack of 'contriteness' (for lack of a better word) the permanent ban will be upheld.

They just found out I circuмvented it again with a proxy. Bah, I can't even be bothered trying to use that forum any more.

    Rant over.

Anyone else had problems with this forum? It seems to be a very popular forum.

    TT.

When you enter the Lions Den - and a Lion decides to make lunch out of you - then you have little to complain about.

    That forum is Novus Ordo.

In order for them to allow you to tell the Truth - they would have to go back on most of their beliefs.

Make no mistake - the Novus Ordo is an entirely new religion.   It isnt Catholic. It was created by modernists for modernists.

My observation is not that I am surprised that you got permanently banned - but rather - how long it took before it happened.  Face it - it is inevitable.   There is no a single person in this forum who can conduct the same open discussions we have here,  there without being banned eventually.

Now , knowing this - why are they so afraid of someone standing up for Traditional Catholicism.

I remember bringing up the Subject of Women covering their heads in Church there - and I fully supported my argument both from a Canon law perspective 1917 vs 1983 -  and through several examples of historical and proper Scriptural exegesis of 1 Cor 11.

Obviously I became an instant problem.  From that point on it was only a matter of time for me as well.

In closing let me simply say Congratulations on a job well done

    Pax

Came to this thread and saw this. And I agree with him. But like I said I just don't get it. To each their own in this crazy crisis.

  • Yeah, I was banned on their forum, too, for speaking the truth about Vatican II heresy and errors, and against Israeli apartheid. "Catholic" Answers is a Neocon Zionist forum infected with the spirit of Protestantism and modernism. That forum is a joke. Somehow, I was able to circuмvent the ban, but I rarely go on there anymore. If I do it is in defense of the orthodox Catholic faith.
