Raj has been banned for posting a link to a Youtube video which contains harsh criticism of CathInfo and its moderator.

Guess what, Einstein? You can't post crap like that in text form on my forum, so what makes you think a Youtube video is somehow exempt?

Trying to be sneaky? I noticed you mentioned who was mentioned in the video, but conveniently left me out of the list.

If that's what you think is funny, you obviously don't belong here.

I kid you not, it's garbage like that that tempts me to believe that all the men mentioned in the video -- Eamon, Dr. Droleskey, etc. are COMPLETE GOOD GUYS. As in, make room on the Liturgical Calendar because these men will be canonized one day! It certainly doesn't make me suspect the attacked men are bad. How often do two bad guys duke it out thus? It happens, sure, but even more often you have evil men persecuting good men.

To phrase it a different way -- after watching a video like that, if I were given a choice of which TWO things I was inclined to believe:
A) Eamon, Dr. Droleskey, and others mentioned in the video are living saints
B) Eamon, Dr. Droleskey and others in the video are guilty as charged in the video

I would be forced to vote "A" because "B" certainly can't be true!

Of course, my true vote is that neither side is perfect. But I'm more inclined to think the "attacked" are righteous saints than to believe the charges brought by so lowly an attack.

A juvenile video like the one in question is CERTAINLY not the work of a holy man or men. Someone who's amused by his own wit? Perhaps. Someone lacking charity? Perhaps. Someone with no interior life? Perhaps. Someone full of malice trying to destroy someone's reputation? Quite possibly.

It's very tempting to believe it's because good and evil don't get along. The creator of the video seems evil. Ergo...

Anyhow, for those wondering what I'm talking about, it was another unoriginal video featuring Hitler shouting at his henchmen, with subtitles put in by someone with too much time on his hands. It's a copycat Internet "meme" or fad like the owl saying "ORLY?" or the photos of cats saying "I can haz cheezburger?"

I thought some of it was humorous, but admit it was completely inappropriate.

I definitely laughed.  I would not agree that the person that assembled it is evil.

Objectively, the anti-CMRI, pro-Ramolla crowd has made some nasty allegations against Bishop P.  The CMRI is a large organization, and I would say a large majority do not believe the allegations.  To respond with humor and wit is not in my book evil.  

Is it true?  Personally, my gut tells me there is more truth in the video than the allegations against the Bishop.  I would not agree with the criticism of cathinfo.  As with any Internet forum, truth and falsehood are intermixed.  It is the nature of the beast.

Is their an orchestrated plan between Father R, Eamon, SJB, Dr. D, et. al.?  I tend to doubt it.  However, I think they have an alliance.  I think they think alike.  Thus, it is natural for them to side together and support each other.

As much as Eamon's recent rampages are uncalled for, part of me feels sorry for him. Eamon apparently has alot of people after him. Eamon claims Father Cedaka is out to ruin his reputation, which is quite possible. Then you have this Raj character (who I believe was David Hobson, and as well all know Hobson has a bad problem with Eamon) make a video slandering him and CatholicInfo. For some reason, he has alot of people out to get him. I'd like to know why.

Doesn't David Hobson run a porn website? I think I remember reading that about him when all that controversy came up about him while he was on his Gortan account.

Hobson usually will wait a few months in-between bans to come back, in hopes that everyone will have forgotten about him and his posting style.

I did not see what Raj posted. Chi Roh posted a link to a clip here on the forum in the Bp Piv thread back on Sep 11. It sounds like it was the same clip. He thought it was funny. That link has been removed now. Was it the same clip?

This is a bit of a strawman approach, focus on a few emotional statements made by one individual and then pretend there's nothing else to discuss.

Not at all.  They were written and are out there.

There is also other statements that a CMRI member would find objectionable.  However, I did not want to get into a debate on whose ox is being gored.
