  • Why is the Quote and Reply options missing from the latest thread in the Women Only section?
No other thread seems to be affected.

  • Oh, didn't you know?  :cowboy:

There was a big battle on that thread!

It's Matthew's way of removing some bodies and nursing the wounded.
"Some preachers will keep silence about the truth, and others will trample it underfoot and deny it. Sanctity of life will be held in derision even by those who outwardly profess it, for in those days Our Lord Jesus Christ will send them not a true Pastor but a destroyer."  St. Francis of Assisi

Yes, it was more or less addressed to the Management -- the Management gave his response and then locked the thread, which served no further purpose.

  • So much for it being "Women Only"!
That would indicate it was being monitored by Mater D not a male.
It should have been posted that a male would have access to the "Women Only" section.
This certainly will curtail future discussions.

    I see all threads.

I'm the owner and Moderator of the forum.

I don't sit there and read all of them, usually I let my wife assist me in my Moderator duties, especially the Women's subforum. I'm simply not interested in what's posted in there. It's a bunch of boring women's stuff. :)

    However, that being said:

    1. I am the last word on the forum. There is only one Moderator (me) and my wife is more of an assistant. It's completely "my" forum.
    2. I don't hide any topics from myself, not even in the women's subforum. It wouldn't be smart for the Moderator to be completely ignorant of whole section(s) of his own forum.
    3. You'll note how many times I chime in, correct you all, spoil the party, etc. -- I simply don't. That doesn't include necessary moderation, however. The whole forum is moderated, including the Male/Female subfora, and the Anonymous subforum.
    4. You'll also note how many times I've spread what I've read in the women's subforum into the rest of the forum. Never. It's kind of like the seal of confession. :)

If all this means you're not going to discuss intimate women's problems, anatomy, etc. in the future, then so be it! (maybe that's for the best anyhow, eh?   There are Women's Health forums for those kind of topics...)
