I have some quote-able sheen, but I would need someone to find it. I've been looking for it for a couple of years now, and I can't find it anywhere.

Once, he did this talk on Dostoevsky, and he talked about the gulags, and totalitarianism. Oh, how I wish I could listen to it again. It was on a "catholic" radio station, and when I called, they said they didn't know which one was aired.

If anyone knows which one I'm talking about, please share. I would love to listen to it again.

Nope, that wasn't it. It talked about Dostoevsky's writings while he was in the Gulag, and about communism and totalitarianism.

I haven't been able to find it. I'll look on that site, but I'm pretty darned sure I looked there.

He was talking about men freezing to death, about how they would rather be dead than be in the gulag. How they would travel for days, and be standing or crouching in one place for long periods of time.

I can't find it anywhere. It was so good, and ever since I listened to it the first time, I wanted to listen to it again!

Yes, early on Sheen appeared to be a great Catholic. Then he lost it and went along with the New V2 Religion, just like most other bishops did.

God alone knows exactly why he lost it and when his problems began, or if he was a secret Modernist from early on. Such issues are not always clear-cut or simply explained.

I read a bio of Sheen that was pro-Sheen. It was clear that he was caught up in politics, worldliness and fame.

Traditional Catholics will be able to recognize that the writings and utterances of the early Sheen were good; the latter works were a mix of good, ambigious and bad.

I've been scouring the net for this talk about Dostoevsky, and the train rides in the tundra and the horrible conditions in the gulag for a solid two year period now. I can't find it. If anyone knows where I can find this, I will be eternally grateful.
