I take on board a comment about not paying heed to 'dislikes' but I find it disturbing a prayer request is disliked on a Traditional Catholic forum.

I was been genuine when I posted it so very disappointed that prayer requests are disliked. It's a low blow to dislike a prayer request.

Discussions and debates are the norm and no issue with that. Disliking a request for prayer is quite nefarious.

:really-mad2:A number of CI members have serious problems. Go ahead, dislike all you want, but remember God sees you. Even if you are still a child, you're old enough to consider the possible consequences of down-thumbing prayer requests from souls in distress. If these are adults I'm addressing, go to Confession and stop the bullying. That's what it is.

I don't know about handshakes, but the bowing down while Perez stands upright like a king...

There is a photo of benedict 16 doing that same handshake - the forefinger is pointing while shaking the hand which is weird and not something someone does on impulse. I say hes a freemason.

Is there some reason why you think you have the right to post these uninteresting vain threads with the first few posts always responding to yourself. You are obsessed with yourself. You keep making comments about things which common sense would tell you that nobody here knows anything about or finds interesting, always about yourself, or some story that the americans and Canadians on this forum don't care about.
I don't care about your supposed accusation of calumny or you getting thumbs down. I get thumbs down but so what. I don't make a stream of posts and start new threads complaining about myself to total strangers.
I bet most of your thousands of posts are more of this poor me situation that only you know about drivvle.

My friend, you have 236 posts. John has well over three thousand. May I suggest that a little humility is in order here?

John expressed very Catholic dismay that people would down thumb prayer requests. This practice has always struck me as clear evidence that several posters here, who never demonstrate the courage to identify themselves when down thumbing prayer, are at best spiritually and emotionally immature children who should not be allowed on the Internet without adult supervision.

I was viewing the "active user" here and noticed my own person, name listed as moderating, I am not a moderator here at all, and wonder why did that show up that way. It does not show that way now but it did.

That was because you may have been editing a post that you had already published within the finite window wherein a post may be edited before it becomes permanent. You were "moderating" your post: the only moderation allowed to members. That tripped me out too, until I figured it out somehow.

Or maybe I'm wrong...
