If you would read the Genesis you'll see the Earth is made before the stars and part of the purpose for the stars is to mark the night, seasons, and years presumably because they were created in daily, seasonal, and annual motion. The Genesis does not record God later setting the Earth into motion and that would contradict later scriptural passages that compare God's immovability with the Earth's.
.
It's not the stars purpose to define the seasons or years. It's the Sun that does that, along with the tilt of the Earth's
axis, or, as Geocentrists say, the Sun going up and down relative to the equatorial plane.
.
Can you find me that verse in Scripture that says the Earth is immovable relative to the Sun.
Make sure the Sun is being compared to the Earth, because the words, "shall not be moved" in
Scripture also pertain to mountains and a just man.
