What do you people here think of the Duggar Family. For those who are not American they are a Protestant family with 19 kids and the 20th was recently miscarried. They are part of the Quiverfull movement and they homeschool.

Now, would they make good trads??

I feel as though the Duggars in a certain way mirror trads with the obvious difference that they are Protestants.

First, I think that you would get a better response if you'd make another thread and title it with the subject of the thread. something like "Protestant Duggar Family 19 children!

My response:

I think that by their deeds (the family size and the way they dress) they are more Catholic than 99% of Catholics, therefore, it will be impossible for the American Catholic church to convert them. Moreover, if they converted to say SSPX, they'd loose all the $$$ they get from Protestants, and they'd be branded as freaks by 99% of Catholics. Nevertheless, God can turn stones into real Catholics.

Nadie, where is your "authoritative sources" for all that, and why are you wasting our time by not providing some, since by your own convictions nobody needs accept anything you just said?

"Authoritative sources"? What in the world are you talking about?

This is not a topic about Catholic doctrine, faith and morals, etc. It is a topic about what traditional Catholics on this particular forum think about a well-known Protestant family. Do you expect people to quote Saint Thomas's Summa on the Dugger family?
