To be fair, all of the mainstream news media refer to anyone under the age of 18 as either a "boy" or a "girl."

That's no hard and fast rule to my knowledge. I've just as often heard "minor," and certainly "young man" / "young woman" when the person is as close to the age of majority as Trayvon Martin was.

"Boy" was used more or less exclusively by the MMM with reference to Martin. Kind of ironic, since these same libtards would decry me as a racist for addressing a 17 year old young black man as "boy."
