  • Why is it that Protestants, who rebelled against the Catholic Church, view Marriage as sacred?

For example, the puritans imposed capital punishment for adultery. They said that the wife should obey the husband. Fornication was a grievous offense.

Why is it that virulently anti Catholic Protestants consider Marriage as sacred?

     this has puzzled me.

  • So, you don't feel that committing a mortal sin is a grievous offence?

Given the choice between an eternity in hell and receiving capital punishment, you would argue that it is worse to hang than burn unceasingly?

  • Adultery and fornication are specifically forbidden in Old and New Testament. Some Protestants actually do read from the "Good Book" they're always yapping about, so it's not surprising they would have figured out that God wants monogamous, faithful marriages.

Also, they still have a residue of authentic Catholic teaching, left over from before their schism.
St. Jude, who, disregarding the threats of the impious, courageously preached the doctrine of Christ,
    pray for us.

I am not arguing for immorality. I am just saying that they have a lot of residual Catholic ideas.

  • Protestants don't respect marriage as they don't recognize it as a Sacrament, and tolerate divorce.

It doesn't matter if one or two sects of protestants attempt to defend their mistaken understanding of its objective nature by an exaggerated legal defense of the institution, they are still in error.

Moreover, Puritains were the most rebellious and revolutionary of all the protestant sects.

  • Because Prots have nothing of their own, so they have to rip everything off of the Catholic Church like the Trinity, Bible, etc. Hell-bound Prots believe in devorce just like the schismatic "Orthodox", so none of the "Christian" sects truly believe in the sacraments or the true Christ, only Traditional Catholics are truly Christian. And it does not matter if a Prot or a schismatic remains a virgin his or her whole life and never commits a sin. If they do not die in the profession of the Catholic Faith, the will burn in hell for all eternity.
