    • That is what I heard somewhere, wish I could recall where.

    But it totally makes sense. I suppose Luther may have started out sincerely questioning this and that about Church ritual and the teaching on Purgatory and etc, but at some point, he probably joined up with others who just wanted one thing: to destroy the Church. Well, it looks like things have been coming to that end of late, but I say "looks like," because Jesus promised that the very gates of Hell would not prevail against His Church (Mt 1618 )

    "Satan wants to sift you like wheat" Jesus said to St Peter, our first Pope

    What refers to Peter refers to the Church. So the Church is being sifted or tested or whatever u call it. "Let the weeds grow together with the wheat until [the End when they will separated and the weeds burned up]")

    that is not to say there is nothing good in Protestant "churches" In fact sometimes they seem to get the charity thing better than Catholics do. The story of Pope JP I proves this point. Essentially, the pope was medically neglected. Whether that was the cause of his death or not, God only knows. But one thing is for sure. According to the man who wrote that book on JP I, he didn't see a doctor once in his 33 day reign

    There is something very, very creepy in that story.

    Protestantism denies Our Lord's principal work - the establishment of His Church.

    And the way Protestants deny Our Lady's privileges and even speak of her in a dismissive, mocking manner is not only insulting but actually on the creepy side.

    So yes, Protestantism is the work of the Devil.

    you will know them by their fruits. Talking to protestants is often very "icky" for me. It is a a long story what I mean. But I realize it is not their fault completely (except that they do have free will)

    they have been lied to by the enemies of Christ's Church. I hope those reading this are praying for our separated... uh.... choke choke (part of me says) "brethren." 

    what irritates me most about protestants is .. the ones who REFUSE to listen to anything we Catholics have to say. Even aside from my love of the Church, I cannot stand a closed minded person. That is a small minded person, a person full of himself. It's like "What? I know everything. who needs YOUR input?" 

    of course .. again, they have been deceived so what do we expect?

    Catholics need to evangelize every day. A lot of Catholics do not seem to do that. But then again i don't get out much. All I know is that throughout my life I have known many Catholics and can't think of any who even talked about evangelizing others. I mean, you would think they would talk about something if it were part of their day. Catholics just seem to be Protestant Lite or something. A lot of them are pagan-lite

    Give up your soap operas or your football games (your addicted to) and go out and tell people why they need to be Catholic!

    Sooo, when you, confident in your Catholic faith, are approached by, e.g.,  Mormons who are determined to suck you into 1 of the "temples" of their religion that's based on their additional books of less-than-2-centuries-old alleged "Holy Scriptures", you not only don't "REFUSE to listen",  but even refuse to send them away (pronto), because you are equally determined to avoid the charge of being "close-minded"?   So regardless of your plans for that day, you give them unplanned hours of your time as an opportunity for them to convert you?   

    Or likewise, when confronted by someone seeking converts for the alleged "Religion of Peace" that was invented by a reportedly illiterate epileptic from Arabia, you also give them unplanned hours of your time?

    oh brother. some people around here are on the constant look out for ways to show malice toward their fellow Christians.
