Prophecy of the Popes
« on: February 24, 2012, 12:38:28 AM »
Good evening,

My name is Erik Giles, I am half Italian and was Christened as a Catholic, however my family has gotten away from the Church.

I am here because I want to inform Catholics of the links I found between Revelation 9:11, the Prophecy of the Popes, and the Mayan 2012 end times.

A straight line can be drawn across the surface of the Earth from the Apollyon Oracle of Delphi (mentioned in Revelation 9:11) to the World Trade Center, from there to the Pentagon, and finally to New Orleans (destroyed by Katrina)/

Another line can be drawn straight from Jerusalem, to the oracle, to the Vatican, and finally to the Mayan Temple of Tikal.

This connects all 3 prophecies, and I think Catholics ought to know,

See the info here - in my opinion, it is revolutionary.

Best,
Erik

I have heard about these lines. Some people believe they are a source of power and that humans intentionally built on them for that reason.

There is another one that connects Philadelphia, New York City, and London I think. I also have heard that Washington D.C. lies on one of these lines.

I am not sure if there is any relevance to it however. Probably not. Unless there is some Masons behind it all I don't know.

It seems like a revelation that is from a different religious mindset and with a bit too much blending of pieces of religious faiths.

I worried for some time before posting here, especially because this might be seen as not necessarily Catholic, especially with the Mayan reference. So apologies first if that is the case (all respect, especially since my grandmother was a pretty devout Catholic, from Naples in fact). Also I adopted my children from Poland which is very Catholic, I loved it there.

I probably would not have posted it at all, for the good folks in this forum unless Revelation 9:11 (where Apollyon is mentioned) did not correspond with a line from the Apollyon temple through both targets of 9-11 and finally through to Katrina. Then throw in the Jerusalem - Apollyon - Vatican - Tikal line with the fact that Saint Malachy's prophecy predicts just one more Pope, and that the Mayan prophecy says one more year. So it seems we have a confluence of 3 end time prophecies, both nearing the final act.

If this is all correct (and I hope not) , Catholics will be incredibly important in determining humanities next steps. This is why I think the message needs to be shown to high ranking Catholics, and unfortunately I don't know any.

I worry that, while the Mayans were certainly not Catholic or Christian, did somehow a glimpse of true prophecy get seen by these Pagan people? IE, they might have been Pagans, but that does not necessarily mean God did not allow them to see a small piece of the truth.

Here's the three lines. Let's hope the prophecies are misread.

Erik, my advice to you or to anyone who is concerned about the end of the world would be to examine your conscience and to attend to the Sacrament of Penance for a general confession as soon as possible, literally this afternoon if you have a Roman Catholic Church within driving distances.

Who really knows?  God only.  The world may end in 2012.  But it's at least a probability that any particular life may end in 2012 and that soul would then face eternity.  Knowing this, we should start (if we're not already) life our lives with our mind on the glories of God.

I know this might sound off topic, but do you keep a copy of "The Explanation of the Salve Regina" by St. Alphonse Liguori on hand?  How about "The Glories of Mary" or a particularly pious Catholic book?  I am currently working on St. Augustine's "The Confessions" and St. Francis de Sales "Intro to the Devout Life".  The SFDS book is published by Tan Book Co. and is true to the original the St. Augustine book is by a differently publisher (I bought it over 11 years ago but just got around to reading it recently) and the footnote overemphasize Bible passages while leaving the reader to figure out on his own what a "doorkeeper" is.

Erik, it's okay to wonder about end of days prophecies as long as they lead you to Traditional Catholicism.
