    • There was an episode of Columbo which had subliminal messages in the plot!

    The victim was watching a preview of an advertisement, made by the killer, for something fairly mundane, and intercut were images of a nice cool drink!

    It made the victim thirsty, so he went out for a drink, and was killed!

    As I recall.
