  • This is a crime against ALL South Carolinians and Americans no
matter their Party affiliation. Can this happen in your state? We don't
want to imagine the cataclysm should confidence in our election system
collapse. Every democracy in the world will feel the pain and loss of
their standard bearer. Find the local LWV office in your state HERE.
There's gobs of material here for letters to the editors throughout the
land.   "Reb" Sutherland gave it a go for the US Senate in 2004. She is
    credible.

PRESS RELEASE: S.C. GOP Primary Election - Fraudulent and Criminal

PRESS RELEASE: SC GOP Primary Election - Fraudulent and Criminal

The GOP primary in South Carolina was apparently totally controlled via
the Election Commission et al. to promote one candidate over all of the
others. The computerized vote system was used to make that happen. Here is
what happened in Aiken, South Carolina on January 19, 2008.

PROBLEM #1: The local news reported that there was a record LOW turnout in
    Aiken with only 300 votes.

I am very confident when I tell you . . . that report appears to be a lie.

Here is the link to all of the Aiken voting precincts: LINK:
    http://www.state.sc.us/cgi-bin/scsec/precinctnew?countykey=AIKEN

On January 19, 2008, when I voted in my precinct (VFW 212), I was number
    40. The turnout was excellent, especially for a day with rain.  There are
approximately 73 voting precincts in Aiken County. Even if there were only
10 voters per precinct for the GOP primary, then there would have been 730
votes.  I believe that votes literally vanished into thin "electronic"
    air.

PROBLEM #2:  When I voted on the computer in my precinct, I tapped the
computer's VOTE button, it did not accept my Ron Paul vote. I had to
request assistance. The Poll worker could not get it to accept my vote.
After she clicked many buttons, a message appeared that the vote was
    accepted.

Now, my question is . . . for whom did the computer say I voted? There is
no paper trail by which I can verify my vote.

PROBLEM #3: The SC Attorney General Henry McMaster . . . and previous
Republican Party Chairman for many years . . . telephoned across the state
leaving messages about how the rumors about McCain were false. Of course,
he failed to say that the rumors about Ron Paul, Mitt Romney, Huckabee,
etc. . . . were also false. Just McCain was mentioned. Therefore, I
believe that a crime was committed by the highest judicial office in our
state with a new form of "push poll". McMaster literally signaled to the
long established GOP that the preferred candidate was McCain. I received
one of those messages on January 18, 2008.

My friends . . .the veil is pulled back . . .the wizard is exposed . .
this GOP election was illegal, fraudulent, and just plain criminal from
    the beginning to the end.

I am also forwarding the problems that happened in Myrtle Beach. (See
emailed messages below my Press Release.) The entire computer system went
down in Horry County . . . which was a Ron Paul stronghold.

If you want to use your Rights given by God, then you had better fight for
them . . . the United States Government (i.e., the United States of
American, Inc.) will not give them to you. For the record, it is time to
say that the ballot box is no longer an American option . . . [The END]

    URGENT: Aiken, SC . . . Ron Paul supporters . . . you need to know . . .

Hello to Aiken Ron Paul Supporters:

Yesterday (Friday) I gathered information about who will count the votes
in the South Carolina primaries from the Aiken Election Commission Office
on Vaucluse.  Here are some things that you need to know:

    1.  The Senate bill, S-99, is in power for this primary.  I asked if the
Aiken Director had a copy of it.  He did not, nor did he know if it was in
the SC Code on the state's website.  Hmmm.

    2.  According to the Aiken Director, the State no longer allows the
Chairmen of the political parties to control the vote count; instead, each
County is responsible for pulling the votes off the computers.

    3. The County Election Director will create a textfile, which will be
uplinked to the State Election Commission officer.  There is no State
Election Commissioner anymore, just a committee with an executive
    director.

    4.  In Aiken County, both the Republican and Democratic Party have failed
to obey the Title 7 SC Code for certifying their party in 2006.  They
literally "decertified" themselves by failing to place the precinct
reorgaization papers as well as the county convention papers in the Aiken
County Clerk's office.  I have that information IN WRITING and it is
NOTARIZED by 3 members of that Clerk's office.

    5. I believe that criminal activity has been taking place in Aiken and
throughout the state when the noncertified party officers take filing fees
from candidates without the correct authorization.

    6.  Also, the State Election Commission has accepted those filing fees
without asking for proof of the parties certification.  We have a problem
. . . and it is statewide.  Only one South Carolina county has paperwork
for the Democratic party, and there are no Republican parties that legally
filed the paperwork.  That information was gathered by FOIA letters that
were sent to every County Clerk's office in the state.

    7.  I am aware that Greenville attempted to either backdate its paperwork
and/or put it into the Clerk's office after the closing date . . that info
came via the State Election Commission office.

    8.  One lawsuit was filed in the Fall per this information, but from what
I know from inside sources, the attorney wrote the case incorrectly (due
to pressure from those who paid for the lawsuit) and it was dismissed.
The problem was with the paperwork . . . and the violation of the SC Code,
Title 7, remains in need of prosecution.

    9.  May I humbly suggest that on Monday, someone in Aiken needs to ask the
County Election Director (at the office on Vaucluse Drive)  for a copy of
the text message that will be used to uplink the votes to the state
levels.  Compare it with the information that will be posted by the State
Election Commission or go to that state office in Columbia and request a
copy of it.  You need to know if all of the Ron Paul votes get uplinked.

With kindest regards and best wishes for a better future,

    Sincerely,
    R.E. Sutherland, M.Ed./sciences
