Shriver is a member of the Kennedy family through her mother, the late Eunice Kennedy Shriver, whose brothers included President John F. Kennedy and senators Robert F. Kennedy and Ted Kennedy.
    Shriver supports abortion, ‘gαy’ marriage, birth control, Holy Communion for the divorced and civilly remarried, and women’s ‘ordination.’ In 2008, she considered herself a ‘cafeteria Catholic’ in an interview with The Washington Post.”
