  • What about the priest coming down the center aisle of the church on a
motorcycle and leaving on a motorcycle.
Only in novus ordoland these things do happen.

  • His faculties should be removed, and then he should be sent to a trad seminary to become educated into the solemn meaning of the Mass and into the importance of respecting the ministerial priesthood.

......I am saying that the “New Mass” is the abuse of the True Mass! I am saying that, with the jettisoning of both the law and the spirit of Quo Primum, by that very Act, the Pope has not only substituted something totally different from the Mass, but that it is of the very essence of the “New Mass” to permit every form of profanation, because the “New Mass” makes the good pleasure of the people its “liturgy.”

Intrinsic to the very idea of the “New Mass” is that the people are more important than Christ the Savior, than His Sacrifice to His Heavenly Father, than the Church, His Bride. In the “New Religion,” THE PEOPLE IS BAAL! Is it not they who must be entertained, accommodated, and emoted over?
"But Peter and the apostles answering, said: We ought to obey God, rather than men." - Acts 5:29

The Highest Principle in the Church: "We are first of all under obedience to God, and only then under obedience to man" - Fr. Hesse

Francis may have to use a hover board soon.

  • This is why I'm glad America was never a Catholic nation. This is why. Eventually, we would fail and become godless like this. The fruits of Vatican II just like the video in the Philippines.

We have options everywhere in the US to go to a Latin Mass. They do not. We did not get the worst effects of the post-conciliar Church, the formerly Catholic countries do.

Remember O most gracious Virgin Mary...

I live in Los Angeles where the notorious former Cardinal Mahony allowed clown masses and encouraged "Liturgical Revolutions" with dancing girls on the altar.
    Lord have mercy.

I don't see any mention of a location for this event, but it sounds to me like people are speaking Tagalog in the background.  Also, when the priest gets off the 'hoverboard' he walks up to the altar speaking in the microphone, and it sounds like Tagalog to me.

Does anyone know where this took place, or when?

  • @MMagdala - And oversaw the construction of the hideous cathedral in LA. I honestly hope that repulsive Protestant temple gets burns to the ground.

You must have meant Maria Regina (not MMagdala).

Right.  I just mentioned that for the other readers' benefit.

I noticed you said "in the Philippines" after I posted asking where this happened.  Then I saw in the Comments under the video that several comments are in Tagalog, and one says she was sitting next to the girl with the camera.

It's noteworthy that there are defenders of this farse, and one of their favorite quips is this happened AFTER Mass, and so it wasn't part of the liturgy.

But nobody has mentioned the exact location (name of parish) or the date.  It seems this is new, and happened close to Christmas, like their Simbang Gabi every year.

  • .

If any of the children in this congregation got a hoverboard for Christmas, what is the priest going to say to them if they bring it to Mass and go up and down the aisles with it?  Will he distribute Communion-in-the-hand to anyone standing on one?

If he tries to tell them that it's inappropriate in church, how will he answer the rejoinder, "But Father, YOU rode one in the aisles yourself at Mass!"

Statement of the Diocese of San Pablo on the “Hoverboard” Issue

The Diocese of San Pablo wishes to address an issue involving one of its clergy. Last December 24, 2015, before the final blessing of the Christmas Eve Mass, as a way of greeting his parishioners, the priest sang a Christmas song, while going around the nave standing on a hoverboard.

    That was wrong.

The Eucharist demands utmost respect and reverence. It is the Memorial of the Lord’s Sacrifice. It is the source and summit of Christian life. It is the Church’s highest form of worship. Consequently, it is not a personal celebration where one can capriciously introduce something to get the attention of the people.

The priest said that it was a wake up call for him; he acknowledged that his action was not right and promised that it will not happen again.

He will be out of the parish and will spend some time to reflect on this past event.
He would like to apologize for what happened.
