http://christorchaos.com/index.html.mno.htmlWord reached me from several sources yesterday that Father Luigi Villa, who wrote such important works as Paul VI Beatified?, Karol Wojtyla Beatified?- Never! and, among many others that were published in his Chiesa Viva magazine, Vatican II: About Face (other articles are listed on the Father Luigi Villa website), died at the age of ninety-three in Italy on Sunday, November 17, 2010, the Feast of the Dedication of the Basilicas of Saint Peter and Saint Paul, and the Twenty-fifth Sunday after Pentecost, just several hours before the death of Father Martin Stepanich died at the age of ninety-seven here in the United States of America. Father Villa's works are scholarly masterpieces of research and analysis. Please pray for this hard-working priest's immortal soul. He worked and worked and worked until he died. His unflagging commitment to truth is an inspiration to us all. Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul and all of the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
Finally, word also reached me, courtesy of an e-mail sent to me from Bishop Markus Ramolla, who had celebrated his fifth anniversary of priestly ordination on Friday, November 16, 2012, the Feast of Saint Gertrude, that his ordaining bishop, the Most Reverend Daniel Dolan, is to undergo surgery for prostate cancer this morning. Please join us in praying for the success of Bishop Dolan's surgery and for his speedy and complete recovery.
