Title: Prayer Request for a dying man
Post by: Catholic Samurai on July 15, 2018, 02:01:17 PM
Please pray for the conversion of Joel Hinojosa. He is a protestant on his deathbed right now. He has a green scapular with him.
Please be so kind as to recite the accompanying prayers for it to obtain his conversion.

Thank you.

The Green Scapular is no joke:

When my agnostic, non-practicing protestant grandfather was in his final days, we snuck a Green Scapular between the cushions of a chair in his (Jєωιѕн) hospice room, placed too deeply for the witches to discover.

But the devil was angered, and in order to remove my grandfather from proximity to the Green Scapular, worked a small recovery in him, which necessitated his being removed from that room, and placed back at a local hospital for several days.

So we went to the new hospital room, and hid another Green Scapular within a chair in that room.

To remove him from proximity to the Green Scapular a 2nd time, the devil worked a deterioration of his health, in order that he would be relocated yet again.

But Our Lady was not to be outdone:

By a small miracle, my grandfather was readmitted into the very same hospice room from which he had originally been removed, and the Green Scapular was still buried within the chair cushions (all the more remarkable, since hospital protocol is to remove patients, and place them at ANY hospice with a vacancy; the 100-bed hospice he was initially at usually has a waiting list, so for him to be re-admitted after several days absence, to the very same room of the very same hospice is something like the odds of winning the lottery).

We are inclined to perceive supernatural forces engaging in battle for the soul of my grandfather in his final moments.

As my grandfather lived in a major metropolitan area, with many, many hospices in which he could have been re-admitted, we are not so dull as to believe this was mere chance (same room of the same hospice in which the scapular was previously placed).

Again, the Green Scapular is no joke: You should make an act of faith in Our Lady's power of intercession and the Green Scapular.

She may even give you an unmistakable sign that your faith in her Scapular saved the soul of your friend, as she did for us.

It was my grandfather's only hope, and she did not let him be damned (despite the efforts of the devil).

I have prayed for your friend.

The Green Scapular is no joke:

Agreed.  My sister-in-law, a Novus Ordo Catholic, married a Protestant who was the son of a preacher.  She put the Green Scapular under his mattress and at one point he, on his own, brought up the question of converting to the Catholic faith ... without her ever having pressed the issue.

Unfortunately, so far, no one in my family has "succuмbed" to the Green Scapular I placed in their homes.

I pray daily for the dying, so I will include your friend.
