Allow me to say that Hobble's post is a prime example as to why he has no ignores.

    Ha! I got one!

And that person has gotten himself a Rosary for his intentions.

By the way, I cannot get Private Messages anymore because I have disabled that feature. So if you cannot send me a PM, it's not because I have ignored you.

Back to uploading scans and such...
Please ignore all that I have written regarding sedevacantism.

For what it's worth, I pretty much reflexively upthumb your posts.  I am waiting to get that annoying "I am sure Hobble appreciates the support but let's give someone else a chance" message.

The more people do this, the harder it becomes to hit the limit.

And let me just say -- you're not alone in this behavior.

  • So let's see if I understand the intent:

'Marlelar' earns 2 thumbs-up in this topic: 1 each for actually posting to ask for explanations of "reputation" and "level", each being something I've been wondering about for a long while (even before I joined)?

And 'Matthew' gets 2 thumbs-up: 1 each for supplying the authoritative answers, even though I disagree with 1 aspect: I'd like unsubstantiated naysaying to be penalized much more than 1/3 point?  It doesn't seem as he's exempt or ineligible as proprietor or operator of the Web-site.

Dishing out 4 thumbs-up in a thread that has only 18 messages seems overly generous, but that's the way I interpret the answers from 'Matthew'.

  • AlligatorDicax,

You can never get a handle on human behaviour.

I, for example, am tempted to thumb you down for using a question mark in an inappropriate manner. (I am very finicky about such foibles. Guess that's just my nature.) However I am also generous to a fault  :wink:so I am not going to thumb you down.

On the other hand I am not going to up-thumb you, 'cause I can't work out what you're on about.... :scratchchin:
