  • Can I get a head count of who might show up to a Mass or Masses on the weekdays of December 18 - 21st for Mass?

The Mass(es) would be offered by Father Gabriel Lavery of CMRI per Bishop Pivarunas' permission/request.

    See below message:

    Hello John,

I talked to Bp. Pivarunas a few weeks ago about the missions down there. He told me to plan on saying Mass in the West Virginia/Frederick, MD area on occasion. He also said I could travel down there to your place in Virginia for a Mass to see what the possibilities are. Could you let me know if sometime between December 18-21 would work and how many people we might expect? Otherwise I will have to wait until Jan. or Feb.

    In Jesus and Mary,

    Fr. Gabriel M.
"I receive Thee, redeeming Prince of my soul. Out of love for Thee have I studied, watched through many nights, and exerted myself: Thee did I preach and teach. I have never said aught against Thee. Nor do I persist stubbornly in my views. If I have ever expressed myself erroneously on this Sacrament, I submit to the judgement of the Holy Roman Church, in obedience of which I now part from this world." • Some peope, if they are like me may not look at the subject line, so to make sure I have been clear I want to state that the Mass(es) if offered will be held in Front Royal, Virginia.

  • Although we won't be able to attend, this is great news.  Will Fr. be servicing your mission and the one in Frederick, MD on a regular basis?  We often go through that area on the way to visit family, and if there is going to be a Mass in that area now, we can plan accordingly on our upcoming family visits.

If you need to PM details, that's fine.

Also, there are some ppl just outside DC who used to attend Fr. Radecki's Mass.  I will pass along the Front Royal info to them, as they may make the drive.  If you have a contact number, that would be good.

    Thanks!

Do you have any more information on CMRI coming to Front Royal or MD?
