  • When "Russia" and the "the errors of Russia" invade, they don't only invade from the east. They also invade from below ... from places of the inferno.

"They" may invade from many sides but their effort is prioritized from below.

  • I know this is a secular source....but still - brings another angle of assessing  the volatility of the situation:

"On this order, the man who in 2002 correctly predicted that the pope succeeding John Paul II would be named Benedict XVI, Ronald L. Conte Jr. believes the next pope will be Cardinal Francis Arinze and that he will take the name Pius XIII. This name (Pius) is associated historically with popes who emphasized authoritative doctrine during their pontificates. Cardinal Arinze fits this description, and Conte interprets this qualification as best fulfilling "Peter the Roman" as a pope who "will reaffirm the authority of the Roman Pontiff over the Church; this authority is based on his place as Successor of Peter" and "will emphasize the supremacy of the Roman Catholic faith and the Roman Catholic Church above all other religions and denominations, and it's authority over all Christians and all peoples of the world." To this, Conte adds, "During the reign of Pope Peter the Roman, the great apostasy begins" and this pope will mark "the first part of the tribulation during our generation." Conte envisions this apocalypse beginning in 2012 when, as he sees it, Benedict suddenly dies or steps down and is replaced by Petrus Romanus. This followed by a series of cascading events resulting in World War III, which is triggered when Iranian-backed terrorists explode a nuclear bomb in New York City. The great tribulation begins, and by July 2013, Rome is destroyed when it is struck by a nuclear missile."

  • Cardinal Arinze is 80 years old and this makes it highly unlikely that he will be elected as pope.  My gut feeling is that whoever becomes pope will be a complete shock.  He will be the candidate considered least likely.

BTW, I wouldn't put any credence into anything Ron Conte says.
My conscience compels me to make this disclaimer lest God judges me partly culpable for the errors and heresy promoted on this forum... For the record I support neither Sedevacantism or the SSPX.  I do not define myself as either a traditionalist or Novus

This all fits in way too "nicely"--The pope resigns, Russia invades Europe, no pope to consecrate Russia, utter destruction, God steps in with a general chastisement of the world, A new pope is elected. New pope consecrates Russia---better late than never.  We'll see. Lets pray he consecrates Russia before he leaves. He is probably being forced out. What CATHOLIC pope would leave office during lent citing health problems? Why not offer the health problems up in reparation during the holy season of Lent? Thats what all good Catholics do. Something's wrong with this picture and that's why we came on here to tell you people what we were thinking!

Oh well, nothing specific we can do but pray, pray, pray.

    Now, back into hibernation.

Oh, gee. Future is looking VERY bright right about now, especially since it's almost Lent!
