    • I have a gut feeling that Pope Francis will come out and say that contraception is not a sin. Do you think I am crazy for having this feeling?

    I think something like this is much more likely than an outright blessing on contraception.

    I think not.  If the Holy Spirit got Paul VI to pen HV against enormous pressure to allow contraception then why quit now?

    It would make no practical difference anyway. 90 percent of Catholics are using contraception already and have been since the 1970s.
