Vatican Insider, Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI surprised Cosimo Marti, the treasurer of the International Juventutem Federation, with an invitation to visit him yesterday. Marti had asked some time back to meet with His Holiness, but had thought that the request was forgotten, only to be surprised by a letter from Bishop Gänswein inviting him to visit. On the visit, he was accompanied by Joseph Capoccia, one of the co-founders of "Populus Summorum Pontificuм."
"Populus Summorum Pontificuм" is the annual pilgrimage of people devoted to the extraordinary form of the Mass, now in its third year, while
Juventutem is an international federation of chapters of young people dedicated to the sanctification of youth through devotion to the extraordinary form of the Mass, this year celebrating its tenth anniversary.
