If it quacks like a duck... Pope promotes mortal sin.

If his friends are sodomites, is he?
May God bless you and keep you

  • Mortal Sin:

Among his various appointments as a priest, Saporito was the pastor of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Maplewood, New Jersey, where he founded a group for LGBT people called "Open Arms Ministry" (OAM).

“Interesting how these gal pals say we should meet ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖs where they are. I am a ex-gαy suffering complications from AIDS. When will the church come meet me where I am? When will the church come meet ex-gαys where we are? Trust me they won't. They despise ex-gαys. You see they don't like where we are. It goes against the sin they are promoting. Maybe even their personal secret lives.“

  • Sadly, I know both Father Sapporito and especially Father James Worth, who was one year ahead of me in the Seminary in the Newark Archdiocese.  Father Worth, while in College Seminary, had this image of Christ outside his door, with a blurb that read “Jim, I never said it would be easy.  I only said it would be “worth” it.”  Nice play on words, and I always got a kick out of it when I would pass by his room, which was right across the hall.  Unfortunately, whether it was worth it or not in this life, the next may be in doubt unless this changes.  I am being less damning than maybe I could be remembering that had I not left when I did, who knows what I would have wound up supporting?  Father Sapporito I knew only in passing but even at that, I am not terribly surprised. There are times I just got a gut feeling about other Clerics and it happened all too often in that Diocese.  It took me too long to see the root of the problem but am very grateful that Our Lady was so patient with me.  Now, I have more to answer for...in the meantime, Newark is more of a cesspool now than when Mr. McCarrick was in charge.
