In the pre vatican church, there was a such of a thing as
victim souls. Souls whom offer all their sufferings for the
sins of the world. There were religious souls that lived in secluded convents,and monasteries that prayed, fasted for the conversion of sinners. This just does not exist anymore because of all the reforms of vatican 2. This is why evil, and the spirit of the devil has captured the religious, including priests,nuns bishops,cardinals, and even the popes that do not guard the faith,refusing to discipline the bad, and erring religious. Allowing
bad, and evil examples to corrupt the faithful, in which in
many cases  perversions has becomes acceptable. The
Lost of the since of sin is every where, among lay people,
and religious.
Yes, we need to pray for erring, and sinful religious. Whom should know better. Unless we have victim souls to offer
their suffering, their defeats in life, their miseries. And, pray
and say the rosary than ever before. It is going to much,
and much worse. And, take us all to hell.
Our Lady at Fatima said that more souls go to hell for the
sins of the flesh and that was in 1917, in a time of very
strict morality.

  We cannot blame God for anything, or we will be guilty of blasphemy. But I have read that it is God who choses victim souls, and to ask God to make you a victim is a sign of pride or ignorance. So I think it is Him who choses their number not V2 or any such thing.
