I just cried when I read this, and was compelled to make a petition for her. Please read this, and then please sign the petition. PASS IT TO AS MANY AS YOU KNOW. Your email lists, whatever. God help this woman and her children.

She isn't Catholic from what I can gather. Even so, no one can doubt her bravery. I'll sign the petition and pray for her release and her conversion.

Her husband said (in a CNN interview) that she had converted to Catholicism.

He said it in the video news report, at 2:55. He says, "She's a Catholic. She used to be Orthodox, but she changed to Catholic."
