Pius Society to Meet Near Rome to Discuss Preamble

Italy. [kreuz.net] On the 7th and 8th of October the Superior of the Society of St. Pius X will meet in the Italian District office in Albano near Rome, to have discussions about the negotiations with Rome. This was reported by 'dici.org' on Friday. The Superiors were will be secluded from the public to discuss the Dogmatic Preamble they received from the Congregation of the Faith.

Bishop Schneider had a very interesting proposal a few months back. He suggested the promulgation of a new "Syllabus" mentioning specific errors in interpretation of the Second Vatican Council, and reaffirmation of the corresponding doctrines affected, in accord with Pope Benedict's suggested "hermeneutic of continuity".
If it is true that the SVC defined nothing really new, and it is also true the SSPX believes everything taught before the Council, it is clear that there can be no real difference of faith. I believe there is an orthodox interpretation of the Council and now is the time it needs to be stated, to the universal Church at large.
The people who really need such a notification are the ultra-enthusiasts on the left who genuinely seem to think, often without having read it, that the Council legitimized everything from religious indifferentism to universalism, and furthermore removed the need for pastoral discipline and sacramental reverence along with discipleship and evangelism.
