When I get asked by the parishioners at the FSSP parish why I am not satisfied. What can I say as a defense of the position the resistance holds? Often I only have time to say a few words before they tune me out. I know I can't convert them, only the Holy Ghost can, but I feel I owe it to some of them since they are my friends.
It is a lonely road that we have all chosen. I truly feel like a pilgrim making his way home.

-Depending on the priest, his orders may be doubtful.
-Is the NO celebrated in the same Church? If so, you may literally be stepping on Our Lord
-Your priest's performance of the TLM is
conditional on his assent that it is just a prettier form of the NO (he may not actually believe this, but this is a provision under Summorum Pontificuм)
-You don't want your family to be going to a Church that treats the crisis as something cosmetic (i.e., you don't want to go to a place where the 'problems' in the church are incidental or accidental-- your position on the crisis in the Church is that the Crisis proceeds from VII
in and of itself, and the New Mass
in and of itself, etc. The FSSP at least in policy does not believe this)
-If any of the above can be said honestly by you, you can also say that you do not want to go because you do not want to scandalize others by giving your tacit approval of any of the above points
Also, sometimes loneliness can be a good thing. People can be a distraction to God.
Be Blessed and Preserved.
