  • Although I haven't run into the Philiadelphia nativist riots, After The Boston Heresy Case by Gary Potter is an excellent work to learn the true Catholic history of America. Protestants really screwed things up when they got here.

    Two books he lists as sources are Spanish Roots Of America by David Arias and History Of The Americas by Herbert Bolton
