Try this test! It is very interesting. It will test your knowledge of current events. It is interesting that 11 people of the original survey conducted by Pew Research did not get a single question correct.

This is an excellent test and it shows results in a number of ways. National results indicate that the majority of Americans don't know what is going on in their country. Are these the "low information voters" we have been hearing about?

It is astonishing that so many people got less than half of the questions right. The results say that 80% of the voting public are clueless about current events. That's pretty scary but not at all surprising.

There are no trick questions in this test -- Either you know the answer or you don't. It will give you an idea whether or not you are current on your information data base.

The test contains 13 straight forward questions. If you get less than 50% correct, you really should not be allowed to vote, since you are probably clueless about the issues.

(Your participation taking this quiz will not affect the poll results because the
poll has already been taken in a very controlled manner so as to give results
that are representative of the general population.  This is just for your own
information -- when you're finished it rates your answers and compares them
to the national percentiles that have already been established.)

  • What these 'POLLS' measure is effectiveness of Joo-Big-Brother's Brainwashing/disinfo programmes!

You should have 'learned' that by now!

Deliberately screw their results up or don't take the test!

They measure whether to keep putting out mind control progs on a subject or whether the public has had enough!

  • I got 10 correct, so I guess I get to vote, but several of those questions have more to do with simply being up on "the news" in general and wouldn't necessarily disqualify someone from being up-to-speed on things which matter. On the other hand, one of the questions was basic geography which only 49% got correct.

I gather the "informed voter" is Neil's take on this survey as I don't see anything about voting on the website and there's too much there that doesn't have much to do with informed voting.

  • Mater D did one better than I did.  I should have gotten the Dow Jones one.  That was a careless mistake.  And who would know who the female CEO of Google was.  Please.

Actually, it was Yahoo, but shh!, you're giving away the answers.

The two you mentioned were two that I missed as well, but I'm not disappointed that I missed the Dow one... show me some silver/gold charts and I'd probably get it correct. : )

  • 10 out of 13 too.

  • I got 11 of 13 correct. I missed the sodomite "marriage" question and the Dow Jones chart.
"This principle is most certain: The non-Christian cannot in any way be Pope. The reason for this is that he cannot be head of what he is not a member. Now, he who is not a Christian is not a member of the Church, and a manifest heretic is not a Christian, as is clearly taught by St. Cyprian, St. Athanasius, St. Augustine, St. Jerome, and others. Therefore, the manifest heretic cannot be Pope." -- St. Robert Bellarmine

  •  :dancing-banana:100%, but I guessed and got lucky on the Dow Jones!
St. Francis Xavier threw a Crucifix into the sea, at once calming the waves.  Upon reaching the shore, the Crucifix was returned to him by a crab with a curious cross pattern on its shell.

As for the OP, I just copied the e-mail I got from a friend.  I didn't compose that.

I didn't really agree with it either, but since I had a good time reading the e-mail and taking the quiz, I thought others here might like it too.  It's just for fun.  Trust me:  if I had re-written the intro paragraphs, nobody would be reading this thread!
This is the first quiz I've posted that has had ANY responses.   :furtive:

But I'm not sure that getting the wrong ID for a senator in a state 3,000 miles away from you or being able to ID a person unrelated to lawmaking has any bearing on your qualification to vote or not in political elections.  Maybe they got that idea from Meg Whitman's gubernatorial run in Calif.

Congratulations lurching-Frances!   You're in the _____th percentile! (Fill in the blank!)  I take back everything I've said about you!

I would like to see a national poll on how well people understand God's revelation.

That ought to raise a few eyebrows.   But if I composed the poll, nobody would take it!  HAHAHAHAHA
