Yes. But we live in an upside down, schizophrenic culture which says "good is bad" "ugly is beautiful" and "women are men" .... Most women today have been raised from infancy to deny their true natures and to pursue that which has been recognized as masculine interests and behaviors. This is sad but not suprising, unfortunately.

To me, any woman that WANTS to be in the military is messed up.

They keep asking for equality so just give it to them. Since they don't want to accept a role in society as nurturer and homekeeper then make them suffer along side the rest of us. Besides, technology has grown to the point where women can be effective in combat. Wars don't revolve around how physically strong people are anymore.

Do I believe that women should be soldiers? No. I think they should be homemakers. Unfortunately a good number of women feel otherwise.

I have to disagree with this post. You don't just cave in to immorality because someone keeps demanding it. The Catholic Church teaches that the woman's role is, as you noted, a housewife, NOT a career woman/feminist.

It doesn't matter how effective women are in combat. It's immoral. Period.

This is the key sentence from the article.

Although I'm sure they will find a way to eventually to put the "wymins" on the front lines to fight the men's battles for them, but for now they will still be safely behind the scenes in support roles.

But the day will come when they're allowed to fight and I'm sure nothing will please the enemy like the Muslims more than capturing a few chicks in uniform for we all know what will the treatment will be to them.

In a similar matter as to how one would explain Deborah and other female prophets in the Old Testament. That is, they are miracles, more to be admired and venerated than to be considered as an example for human action.
