Jєωess House Speaker Peℓσѕι starts session with repeal of pro-life protection

The following comes from a Jan. 4 story (https://www.catholicnewsagency.com/news/new-house-passes-spending-bill-with-pro-abortion-rider-27455) on the website of the Catholic News Agency. Link (https://cal-catholic.com/Peℓσѕι-starts-session-with-repeal-of-pro-life-protection/)

In the first day of the new congressional session, the House of Representatives passed a spending bill that includes a provision to repeal a pro-life policy. The bill was one of two appropriations bills passed on Thursday in an attempt to end the partial government shutdown.

The bill, which would resume funding for the federal government, includes language that would repeal the Protecting Life in Global Health Assistance policy, which prevents non-governmental organizations from receiving U.S. health assistance funds if they either promote or provide abortions.

Pro-life congressmen and campaigners spoke out against the rider which would overturn the policy.
In a floor speech, Rep. Chris Smith (R-NJ) criticized newly-elected Speaker of the House Nancy Peℓσѕι (D-CA) for its inclusion in the bill, saying it would “eviscerate” the pro-life protection.

“Madam Speaker, if reopening the government is the goal, if ending the shutdown is the goal, why does this appropriations package contain a brand-new poison pill rider, Section 71, that overturns a major, comprehensive, current-day pro-life policy?” asked Smith.
Smith also accused Peℓσѕι of inconsistency, noting that earlier in the day she had “admonished [the House] to protect God’s creation.”
“These unborn children are God’s creation. They cry out for our protection,” Smith stated.

Not a Jєω... Cultural Catholic. Worse, since they completely misinterpret their Faith and justify using it for all of the wrong reasons.

On ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖity: "Peℓσѕι states that her Catholic (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Catholic_Church) faith is behind her position on LGBT rights such as same-sex marriage, despite the fact that the Catholic Church teaches that marriage is between one man and one woman. Peℓσѕι says "My religion compels me—and I love it for it—to be against discrimination of any kind in our country, and I consider [the ban on gαy marriage] a form of discrimination. I think it's unconstitutional on top of that."

On education: In 1999, Peℓσѕι voted against the Ten Commandments being displayed in public buildings, including schools.

Abortion seems to be the theme of my day...

Yesterday I heard the story of a girl who was 2 months pregnant looking for an abortion. A women offered to pay for her medical, housing, and to adopt the baby. She was told she should just support the girls choice.

I hear another story this morning about a a mother who had an abortion at 6 months.

When is God going to just end it all? I can’t even stop crying when I think of these two stories. Yet these vile women don’t have enough blood on their hands.

When governments work harder to severely, if not through capital means, punish abortionists and the Communists, who had (https://www.nytimes.com/1989/02/28/world/women-fault-soviet-system-for-abortion.html) allowed it.
