  • Pax Romanum has been banned (again).

    1. Taking the moderator to task publicly.
    2. Signing up for multiple accounts (He signed up for a dozen or more accounts in the past; he was in the same camp as a member who said that Hitler was a saint. He was smart enough to avoid vocalizing that, but I believe he held that position, or something close to it.)
    3. Being a racist (and I choose that term carefully, since I am a race realist myself)

This forum is not going to turn into Stormfront. Their kind is not welcome here. It's guys like him that give CathInfo a reputation for being a hive of racists.

Though that reputation is not DESERVED, it is somewhat UNDERSTANDABLE when guys like Pax Romanum are allowed here.

PR, go back to Stormfront where you belong.

  • He kept (keeps?) signing up for a new account every time I ban him. He uses proxy servers so I can't even perma-ban him.  Eventually I pretty much gave up, hoping he'd at least tone down the extreme stuff.

Which he did, and that's why he was a member for so many months.

Well, now I'm just going to ban all guys that sound too racist, and I'm sure I'll get him -- no matter what his latest name is.

  • Matthew, if I may, I believe that the one who said Hitler was a Saint was St. Basil, not PaxRomanum18. Also if I may what would be your definition of a racist, since liberals usually use that as an attack for wishing for a European majority in a country.

This is the thread that, if I remember correctly, was St. Basil saying Hitler was a Saint. http://www.cathinfo.com/catholic.php?a=topic&t=18424

St. Basil was someone this Pax Romanum guy looked up to and agreed with. So it amounts to the same thing.

Pax Romanum signed up for a huge number of accounts many months ago, so it's all a bit hazy. Anyhow, as the moderator, I see things that you don't see.

P.S. That thread has been heavily moderated already, as far as I know. I just took a look at it.

  • I had to edit my posts (above), in particular the part about "Hitler and sainthood".

Pax Romanum was just a fan of the guy who said that. But they're cut from the same cloth, so it doesn't make a whole lot of difference. Still, accuracy is important to me.

  • I will correct myself again, in the interests of accuracy.

He didn't sign up for a dozen or more accounts -- he only signed up for 10 accounts.

    Capistrano
    Augustinian
    Lemans
    Telesphosphorus
    Grossdeutsches Reich
    savethemales
    Sandiego Catholic
    Maximus
    Nomorewars
    PaxRomanum18

I make NO PROMISE WHATSOEVER to not "out" a person when he signs up for multiple accounts! That's specifically against the rules.

(Unless you specifically e-mail me first and ask permission, because of a privacy issue or something like that. That's another story.)

So isn't that funny -- the guy that gets along so well with Telesphorus was actually the same man who signed up as "Telesphosphorus".

  • So he was Augustinian.
"Be kind; do not seek the malicious satisfaction of having discovered an additional enemy to the Church... And, above all, be scrupulously truthful. To all, friends and foes alike, give that serious attention which does not misrepresent any opinion, does not distort any statement, does not mutilate any quotation. We need not fear to serve the cause of Christ less efficiently by putting on His spirit". (Vermeersch, 1913).

Let me guess:  he glows in the dark?

    Had too many X-rays?

    Fukushima survivor?  Chernobyl?

Matthew, this is a huge generalization on your part. How can you claim that just because PaxRomanum "looked up" to St. Basil (whatever that means), he automatically agrees with a comment St. Basil made? How do you know whats going on inside PaxRomanum's head? Did PaxRomanum ever make a statement inferring that Hitler was a saint?

So no, it does not amount to the same thing.

Indeed.  I didn't believe it when Matthew said that they were the same person.

    It seems they were not.
